Hi, I’m Cindy G. Castillo — a certified makeup artist, beauty content creator, and proud first-generation Latina. I was born in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico, and spent 12 years growing up in San Luis, Arizona before moving to Phoenix to pursue my degree in journalism at Arizona State University. As the daughter of immigrants and the first woman in my family to graduate from college, my path has always been fueled by determination, creativity, and a deep love for storytelling.

For 12 years, I worked in media — from print and radio to television — ultimately producing lifestyle segments for the nationally syndicated TV show The List. That background in journalism shaped the way I approach beauty: with storytelling, creativity, and connection at the core.

Today, I’m a certified makeup artist, having graduated from the Regina Valenzuela Makeup School in Phoenix — one of the top Hispanic-owned makeup schools in the state. I’ve had the honor of working with Miss Arizona USA, Phoenix Fashion Week, and incredible clients who trust me to bring their vision to life. Whether it’s glam, bridal, or editorial artistry, I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and radiant in their own skin.

I’m also a proud mom, which makes this journey even more meaningful. Balancing motherhood with building my artistry and content creation career has given me a deeper appreciation for the power of beauty — not just as an art form, but as a way to celebrate yourself in every season of life.
